Create your own MP3 ringtones

MP3 ringtones are now the most popular ringtones on mobile phones

They are considered real music because they play real music, albeit in parts. Music ringtones come in a variety of formats, but new mp3 is by far the most popular.MP3, abbreviated as MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3, is a digital audio encoding format designed to reduce the amount of data required for audio files and thus occupy less space. It can compress large files into small files for faster Internet access.

However, not all mobile phones support MP3 ringtones.

But the good news is that with the development of mobile technology, more and more new mp3 phones with MP3 capabilities are being developed. People with creative minds and a great love of music can now make their own ringtones from any MP3 music at no cost. All you need is a free software and a few minutes and you can get your favorite ringtone on your mobile.

To create the unique ringtone,

You need a mobile phone that plays new mp3 and supports custom tones, for example, a specific method of transferring files to your phone via cable, Bluetooth or e-mail. Highly recommended free audio editing software like Audacity.

Before transferring your MP3 song to your phone,

You need to edit it. A song usually takes a few minutes, so you just have to choose the part you want (at least 20 seconds) as your ringtone. With Audacity you can cut your new mp3 to the exact length you want and include all the effects.

The first thing to do is to download and install Audacity.

Go to audacity.sourceforge.net and download the audio editor. Once installed, open Audacity by clicking the headset icon on the desktop. You will also need the LAME compression library (lame_enc.dll), which you can download and save permanently to your hard drive. Now choose Preferences from Audacity’s edit menu. Then click the Search Directory button on the File Formats tab in new mp3 Export Options and locate the doll you downloaded.

From here you can make a copy of your MP3 file and put it in a temporary folder

Drag the file into Audacity to open it. To start editing, review Audacity’s editing tools and select the affects you want to use. Highlight the desired part of the song as the ringtone. When done, choose “Export as new mp3” from the File menu and save as MP3 to your desktop or Documents folder.

Send the dial tone to the phone via cable,

Bluetooth connection or memory card, or email it to the phone address. After your phone receives the edited new mp3, you can set it as a custom ringtone according to your mobile model.
